Keeping You in Control

At Lighthouse, we believe parents should always have full visibility into what their children are doing in our community. The Parent Portal is a dedicated area of the website where you can see and manage everything about your child's account.

What You Can Do

The Parent Portal gives you the ability to:

• Create accounts for your children directly, so you're involved from the start
• Control access to the website, Minecraft server, and Discord server with simple on/off toggles
• Link Minecraft accounts on your child's behalf
• View activity including support tickets and any discipline reports
• Release your child to an independent account when they're old enough

How Children Get Connected to You

There are two ways your account gets linked to your child's:

1. You create their account through the Parent Portal -- this links you automatically
2. Your child registers on their own and provides your email address -- when you create your own Lighthouse account using that same email, the system links you together automatically

Either way, once linked, you'll see your child's account in the Parent Portal with full management controls.

Safety by Design

Lighthouse takes safety seriously. Younger members have tighter default settings when they first join, and you can adjust those settings at any time. If you ever need to quickly restrict your child's access, you can disable their account with a single toggle -- no need to contact staff.

Accessing the Parent Portal

You'll find the Parent Portal link in the website navigation. It's available to any adult member or anyone who has children linked to their account.
