To create a Lighthouse account, you'll need:

Head to the registration page and fill out your details. Your username is how other community members will see you, so pick something you're comfortable with.
We ask for your date of birth so we can apply the right safety settings for your age. This information helps us keep the community safe for everyone.
If you're under 17, you'll see an extra step asking for a parent or guardian email address. We'll send your parent information about your account and how to manage it.
If you're ages 13 to 17, your parent doesn't need to do anything for you to get started -- you can begin exploring right away. However, your parent will have the ability to manage certain permissions on your account, like whether you can link Minecraft or Discord accounts.
For those who are 12 and under, your parent will have to create your account in the Parent Portal before you can join the website and community. Once you enter your parents email address they will be sent information about Lighthouse and given directions on how you can join the community.
Once you've registered, you'll land on your Dashboard as a Drifter -- that's the starting membership level for all new accounts.
The first thing you'll see is a prompt to read and accept the community rules. Once you've read them and clicked the accept button, you'll be promoted to Stowaway automatically. From there, you can start linking your Discord account and exploring the website.
After you are a Stowaway (have agreed to the rules) staff members will be notified to review your account. If everything checks out they will promote you to Traveler, granting you full access to the community, including our Discord and Minecraft servers.
