What Is the Lighthouse Discord?

The Lighthouse Discord server is where our community hangs out, chats, and stays connected outside of Minecraft. It's a great place to get to know other members, ask questions, and keep up with what's happening in the community.

This is also where Bible Study and discipleship happens.

What You'll Need

Before you can fully join the Discord server, you'll need:

  • A Discord account (free to create at discord.com)
  • A Lighthouse website account at Stowaway level or above (you've accepted the community rules)

If you don't have a Lighthouse account yet, head over to Creating Your Account to get started.

How It Works

Joining the Lighthouse Discord is a two-step process:

  1. Link your Discord account on the Lighthouse website -- this connects your Discord identity to your Lighthouse account
  2. Join the Discord server using the invite link on your settings page

Once both steps are done, the system automatically assigns you the right Discord roles based on your membership level. You don't need to do anything extra -- your roles stay in sync as you progress through the community.

What to Expect

When you first join as a Stowaway, you'll have access to the #foyer channel where you can introduce yourself to the community. Once staff promotes you to Traveler, you'll get full access to the rest of the Discord server.

Your Discord roles update automatically whenever your membership level changes on the website, so you'll always have access to the channels that match your current level.
