Joining the Server

What is the Lighthouse Server?

The Lighthouse Minecraft server is a whitelisted community server. That means only approved players can join -- you won't run into random strangers. This keeps things safe and friendly for everyone, including younger players.

We support both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, so you can play no matter which version of Minecraft you own.

Before You Can Play

To join the server, you'll need two things:

  1. A Lighthouse website account at the Traveler level or above, which means you have agreed to the rules and our staff have approved your account
  2. A linked Minecraft account that has been verified

How It Works

The process to get on the server has three steps:

  1. Link your Minecraft account on the Lighthouse website
  2. Verify ownership by joining the server and entering a code
  3. You're in! Once verified, you're permanently whitelisted and can join anytime

The whole thing usually takes just a few minutes. The next page walks you through the linking process step by step.

Java and Bedrock

You don't need to do anything special based on which edition you play. During the linking process, you'll pick whether your account is Java or Bedrock, and the system handles the rest. You can even link one of each if you play on both.
